We are one of the largest and most influential community voices in Tauranga City. Achievements include retaining the Bayfair Underpass, persuading Tauranga City Council to reconsider tsunami sirens (cancelled by the commissioners) , getting work on evacuation routes started and the retention of the Mount-Papamoa Ward in local elections (wrongly changed by the commissioners). Papamoa is a rapidly growing suburb (the largest in Tauranga City) and we believe the residents should have more say in its development, particularly the development of our infrastructure.
Our meetings feature relevant and informative guest speakers as well as oir local City Councillors. These meetings provide an excellent forum for members to raise their concerns with each other and voice their opinions directly to leaders in our community.
Get involved and come along to one of our meetings and see for yourself. You can also follow us on our Facebook Page.
We look forward to meeting you.
